Our team of Instructors is what makes Northwest Martial Arts outstanding.
Each Instructor has gone through an intensive 10 week training program that emphasizes skills that make them the best at motivating,
encouraging and training our students. They also participate in monthly training sessions to keep them sharp and learning
new and better teaching methods.
Master Nyls Rothfusz
Owner/Master
Instructor
Master Nyls is a 5th Degree Taekwondo Black Belt and
owner of Northwest Martial Arts. He began training in Martial Arts in 1984 and has been training or teaching ever since.
Master Nyls also holds ranking in Shinto Yoshin-ryu
Jujitsu, Hapkido and Iaijitsu. He is certified as a Cardio Kickboxing Instructor, Stix for Kids Instructor
and F.A.S.T. Defense Bulletman. He was the first inductee into the Northwest Martial Arts Black Belt Association
Hall of Fame in 2006.
